Your background

I have always been active.  Growing up, I was a dancer and a cheerleader.  I participated in many styles of dance.  My only experience with “training” was using the weight room during cheer practice and I never really knew what I was doing.  I started to work out more after I met my husband because he liked to work out and he would show me what to do but I was extremely uninterested and thought I had to do a ton of cardio.

Thoughts about strength training before & after

Before, I didn’t really know what I was doing.  I have a history with following “pinterest” workouts at the gym and working a lot on the elliptical.  I didn’t really lift a ton of weights before.  Now that I’m at Restored Strength I have learned that I truly am a strong person! I CAN lift weights!

Challenging barriers you overcame

I have always struggled with working out.  I used to never like doing it and you had to drag me kicking and screaming to the gym.  I overcame that by actually enjoying the workouts I was doing. I love watching myself progress throughout the weeks.

Greatest achievement

I have lost 70 pounds and become a much stronger person.

One year transformation.

 Changes your family/friends noticed

The weight loss is the number one change that people notice and I also have a lot more energy!

What do you tell people about our training

I would tell them that the environment is really friendly and William and Tyler really care about your goals and make sure to personalize your plan.

What do you enjoy about training here

I love the atmosphere! It’s more fun than anything J.

3 benefits you’ve noticed

1. I lost a ton of weight.
2. I was able to alleviate a ton of joint pain and get my rheumatoid arthritis under control.
3. I have a lot more energy and actually have more strength and stamina than I did in high school dance team.

All of these things have greatly improved my life.  I feel much better and the stress on my body is slowly going away.

What makes the difference

I always disliked the consensus of the sorer you are the better workout you had, etc.  Tyler and William in no way ever want you to be in pain.

We wanted to start 2018 off with one of the hardest working Rebells we have here, Tina has been consistent and committed since we first opened. Tina has been able to show the world the true beauty of what real strength is, both physically and mentally. Watching her increase her deadlift from 65 lb to 135 lb for multiple reps has been very rewarding and exciting. Tina brings a lot of energy and excitement into the room when she comes in for her sessions, it’s been amazing watching her transform her life.
